Earlier this week, Jon DiSalvatore pledged to donate $25 to the Red Cross for Hurricane Sandy relief for every goal scored Saturday and Sunday by Hershey. Unfortunately, the Bears only scored 2, meaning only $50 from DiSalvatore and $50 from the Bears. So in an effort to raise more money, DiSalvatore took to his Twitter.
The forward said he would quadruple his donation to $200 if he hit 1,500 followers by the end of the night. He had no issue doing that, so he made it even better. If he hits 2,000 followers by 12:00 am on November 12, 2012, DiSalvatore will donate $400 dollars. As of 9:23pm, he only had 1,522, 478 away from the 2k mark. If you have a Twitter and do not follow @jondisalvatore, go follow him right away. If you don’t have a Twitter, you can sign up for one here, and then follow Jon.
